Kompis! Kompis! crate findings in Santiago de Chile, part 5

Second time around I find this one... A weirdo psyche-bossa album by Meireles e sua Orchestra. The album is called Brasilian Explosion and has been in a lot of want lists through the years due to its spacy version of Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001 - Uma Odisseia no Espaco). However, here I'll give you the track that feels like the natural continuation of this tune: Bahia. It's more groove and real bossa in it - if you ask me.

Just another K!K! exclusivo from last year's Funk Classics 2008. Fully Fitted made it funky but this one might be even funkier:)
Enjoy!

Kompis! Kompis! crate findings in Santiago de Chile, part 4

Probably the best crate finding of 2008, just before Christmas... Haven't found any information about this group Alma (from Spain?) and their massive cover of Stevie's Another Star. Can't find words to express how good this is, so I'll leave you with the lyrics to sing along. And if you dunno "espanish", just hop around, go bananas and join us in history's best la-la-la-la-laaaa-chorus!

Blaqstarr! Blaqstarr!

DJ Blaqstarr certainly was one of last year's greatest providing the dancefloors with tracks like "Shake it to the ground", "Automatic Lover", "Supastarr" and maybe the biggest tune of the year "Get off". Here's a little refix on "Hands Up Thumbs Down". A K!K! Exclusivo for the b-boys & b-girls out there!
