Kompis! Kompis! crate findings in Santiago de Chile, part 1

During the Kompis! Kompis! world tour in Santiago, Chile, the next 6-7 months, we'll be posting som interesting, curious or simply right on damned fine cuts that we've been finding in this LA-look-a-like mad and inmense South American capital.

First up is a bongo-sparkling quite groovy latin jazz song beautifully performed by Peggy Lee. It's the Cole Porter tune I Am In Love...and the first strofe is not a mind reading of GWB, even if one could think so (excluding that part of love, of course):

I am dejected. I am depressed.
Yet resurrected and sailing the crest.
Why this elation, mixed with deflation?
What explanation? I am in love.
Such conflicting questions rise
around in my brain: Should I order cynanide
or order champagne?
